What I Inspect

I will conduct a thorough inspection of your home, inside and out.

As an experienced, professional, licensed, and certified home inspector, I have the knowledge and expertise to provide you with a thorough, professional, non-intrusive, visual inspection of your home, from roof to foundation. 

Outside the home, I will check the exterior walls, roof, driveway, deck, etc., then I will move inside to examine the walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows. The heating, air-conditioning,plumbing, and electrical systems will all be examined to ensure that they function as intended. Bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms receive a thorough check, along with the attic and basement or crawl space.

My standards are among the highest in the industry and meet or exceed every standard prescribed by the State of New Jersey, NACHI, or ASHI. I bring with me the training and experience to accurately assess the condition of your home, and I possess the communication skills to describe the findings both verbally and in writing.

I will slowly and methodically walk you through your prospective home and fully educate you about its features so that you fully understand your home. I will assess those areas where repairs, upgrades, or replacements may be necessary and screen for those costly defects or safety issues that could lead to problems in your future. I'll locate those areas that need your attention now, and those that may need attention later.

When the inspection has been completed, I will prepare a detailed, narrative report with digital color photos to describe the property and the results of the inspection. Any areas of concern will be clearly described, and accompanied by a photograph annotated to make the issue clear to the viewer. My reports are thorough and second to none in their clarity and utility for my customers. The report is generally delivered the day after the inspection.
