In the past I have come across two types of home inspectors - those in the pockets of the realtors, and those looking to prove what great detectives they are. The "realtor inspectors' major concern is to just give the appearance of a thoughtful inspection, but the overriding priority is to not break the deal and cut off future referrals from the realtor. The "great detectives" I think take pride in the opposite. They go so far as to overstate unimportant items purely to satisfy thir ego and be the savior by breaking deals. When I was doing my research I had chosen you because I had gotten the impression that you migh be different, and I am very gladto say that I was right. After meeting with you and reading your report I really got the feeling that youroverriding concern was to be my advocate, which after all, is what I was looking for in a home inspector in the first place.
