Anchor Inspection Services LLC
Inspected Once, Inspected Right!
Paying a little more for a qualified and certified inspector pays off.
Buying a home? It is probably the most expensive purchase you will ever make. This is no time to shop for a cheap inspection. The cost of a home inspection is very small relative to the home being inspected (generally about 1/10 of 1 per cent). The additional cost of hiring an experienced, well qualified, licensed, and certified inspector is almost insignificant.
You have recently been crunching the numbers, negotiating offers, adding up closing costs, shopping for mortgages and trying to get the best deals. Do not stop now. Do not let your real estate agent, a patty-cake inspector or anyone else talk you into skimping here. An Anchor certified inspection may not be the cheapest, but it is the best inspection value by far.
You may find some home inspectors who offer their services at a lower price. Many are not certified, belong to no professional organizations, and may not even be licensed. Check their credentials and ask yourself "Am I willing to trade quality for a lower price?" - especially on such an important decision! I take the time to do a thorough inspection, and a detailed professional report. For an investment of this magnitude, hire the professional you like best, with the qualifications you want - a few tens of dollars is meaningless when compared with the potential costs and the cost of the home.
Qualified, experienced, and certified inspectors earn their fees many times over. They do more, they deserve more and, yes, they generally charge a little more. Do yourself a favor...and pay a little more for the quality inspection you deserve.
